Located in the beautiful hamlet of Strath Creek, Victoria, this 2000 acre farm runs a productive livestock business. Over the last few years, the property has undergone significant improvements and has been maintained to a high standard.
The opportunity of Farm Manager is now open to genuine applicants looking to take the next step in their career or even settle into a long term position with full support to succeed.
Reporting to absentee owners, you will be responsible for all day to day operations, managing budgets and working with the owners on strategic direction. This is a genuinely autonomous role, offering all the lifestyle benefits of running a family farm.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need to have demonstrated the following:
- Experience working in a similar role managing a farm business
- Tertiary qualifications in agriculture
- An attitude and motivation to think strategically, plan appropriately and be accountable to the business
- The ability to communicate at a high level to different stakeholders across the business including formal reporting both verbally and in writing
- Excellent experience working, cattle, sheep production, pasture management and renovations
- Providing leadership guidance, support and mentoring where needed
- Experience using Agri Web
