The opportunity
On behalf of our client, Meridian Agriculture are delighted to present the opportunity for a keen Farm Hand to join a growing team located just 10 minutes out of Bacchus Marsh.
This traditional farm, set on a historic 11,000 acre property has a focus on wool and livestock work. Reporting to the farm manager, your role will be to assist with the day-to-day operations.
This role offers great flexibility and lifestyle!
About you
You will be able to work both in a team and alone while maintaining a high level of safety for yourself and others.
- Experience working with sheep and wool – wool classing cert advantageous!
- Excellent farm maintenance skills such as fencing and general repairs
- Some machinery operation skills including – chainsaws, tractors and quad bikes
- Team oriented mindset and willingness to learn
